Most Fridays during the school terms, during the middle session of the day(12:00-1:15,) students in the 3/4 Learning Community will be participating in Investigations workshops.
Currently, the workshops we have, or intend to, facilitate are:
- Tinkering (which generally involves students constructing using tools in the outdoor covered area.)
- Computer Coding
- Dramatic Play
- Textiles (including sewing and knitting)
- Construction (in a classroom using blocks and other construction sets)
We would love parents, grandparents or friends who are willing to come and share their expertise in the areas listed above, to join us during this time. It doesn’t need to be a regular commitment, even one session would be great. Alternatively, you may have another passion, talent or skill that students might also like to learn about. If this is the case, please contact your child’s teacher so we can discuss how we can support the students continue their learning journey.
Please note that any helpers would need a Working with Children’s Check.
